Ed Sheehan founded Windham Professionals in 1982. He led Windham as President from 1982 to 2006. With more than 28 years in the collection industry, Ed has a wealth of experience and a commitment to remaining on the cutting edge of collection policy. While a director of the New England Collector's Association, Ed was instrumental in effecting legislation and policies designed to regulate and govern collection procedures in New England.
Ed has also been actively involved in:

- National Association of College and University Business Officers (NACUBO)
- National Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators (NASFAA)
- National Council of Higher Education Loan programs (NCHELP)
In early 2006, Erin Zaldastani was appointed successor to Windham's Founder and former President, Edward M. Sheehan, Jr. Now, as President and CEO, Erin oversees the development and growth of our company. She sets Windham's corporate strategy and vision, creates an inviting corporate culture, and continues to build a strong leadership team.
Erin has been an active member of the Windham team since 1992 holding the positions of: Business Manager from 1992 to 1996, General Counsel from 1997 to 2002, and Executive Vice President from 2002 to 2006. Erin continues to play an active role in supporting guarantor relations.
Erin is a Friend of NCHELP's Debt Management Committee, former member of the Board and has been regularly attending the Debt Management Committee meetings since 1997.
Erin graduated from Union College in Schenectady, New York with a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science. She obtained her Juris Doctorate from Franklin Pierce Law Center in Concord, New Hampshire. Erin has been admitted to both the New Hampshire and Massachusetts Bar and to the U.S. District Court of Massachusetts and of New Hampshire.
Ed has been with Windham Professionals since 1994. He is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of collections, operations and information systems. His commitment to the highest ethical and professional standards is evident in the staff of Collection and Account Managers who work with Windham and the high recovery rates those representatives achieve.
Ed graduated from Colorado State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Social Sciences. He is a member of the Sandler Sales Institute President's Club and has completed several FDCPA Collector Certification and Compliance Training Programs.
Megan has been with Windham since November 2002, where she provides legal counsel in business employment, creditor and debtor rights, contracts, and collection law. She ensures compliance with federal and state collection regulations and licensing requirements. Megan interacts with all departments to disseminate current legal decisions that affect the business. She attends industry seminars to keep abreast of pending legislation and court rulings affecting the collection industry. She was appointed a founding member of the NCHELP Private Loan Committee.
Megan graduated from Colorado College and earned her Juris Doctorate from the Washington School of Law, American University, in Washington, D.C. She was admitted to the Massachusetts Bar in 1999.
Fred leads our business development team with an excellent background in collections operations and sales spanning over 24 years of industry experience. Fred first started as a collection agent in 1980 and quickly moved into operations management. In 1991 he started in sales, eventually advancing to a position as a sales executive. Through the course of his career he has sat on panels at the National Council of Higher Education Loan Programs (NCHELP), the Coalition of Higher Education Assistance Organizations (COHEAO) and led training sessions at Professional Development Group’s (PDG) conference. His diverse background is well-suited for Windham's varied vertical experience, which includes campus based-collections, FFELP loans, Federal Direct student loans, private student loans, commercial recovery and healthcare recovery programs.
Prior to his collection experience, Fred was an analyst in Army Intelligence for nearly a decade. He attended the University of Minnesota and his passion is American History.
Charles has been working in the educational collection industry for over a decade. Charles manages all of Windham's collection departments. He has an excellent ability to build moral, increase market share and profitability through training and development of staff. He is responsible for devising operational procedures and strategies to improve production while reducing cost as well as developing liquidation tracking metrics to increase daily accountability and efficiency.
Prior to joining Windham's team, Charles has had extensive experience overseeing and directing collection operations for countless clients, including the U. S. Department of Education (ED). Charles lends his expertise to the streamlining and focusing of our collection efforts here at Windham.
Deborah has over 22 years of experience in the collection business and at Windham Professionals. She is responsible for managing the operations of the Educational and Commercial Collections Divisions.She works closely with account managers to monitor collection performance and to conduct client audits.
Deborah has a long-term interest in continuing education and in remaining on the leading edge in the collection industry. Each year she attends the DAKCS A/R Collections and System training and is an ongoing participant in the Microsoft Professional Development Training. In addition, she has attended FDCPA Collection Training and FDCPA Collector Certification and Compliance Training Programs.
