Edward M. Sheehan, Jr.
Founder, Chairman of the Board, and Senior Advisor

Ed Sheehan founded Windham Professionals in 1982. He lead Windham as President from 1982 to 2006. With more than 25 years in the collection industry, Ed has a wealth of experience and a commitment to remaining on the cutting edge of collection policy. While a director of the New England Collector's Association, Ed was instrumental in effecting legislation and policies designed to regulate and govern collection procedures in New England. Ed has also been actively involved in:

· Coalition of Higher Education Assistance Organizations (COHEAO)
· National Association of College and University Business Officers (NACUBO)
· National Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators (NASFAA)
· National Council of Higher Education Loan programs (NCHELP)

Erin W. S. Zaldastani
President and Chief Executive Officer

In early 2006, Erin Zaldastani was appointed successor to Windham's Founder and former President, Edward M. Sheehan, Jr. Now, as President and CEO, Erin oversees the development and growth of our company. She sets Windham's corporate strategy and vision, creates an inviting corporate culture, and continues to build a strong leadership team.

Erin has been with Windham for more than 14 years. She held the position of Business Manager from 1992 to 1996, General Counsel from 1997 to 2002, and Executive Vice President from 2002 to 2006. Erin continues to play an active role in supporting guarantor relations.

Ms. Zaldastani is a Friend of NCHELP's Debt Management Committee and has been regularly attending the Debt Management Committee meetings since 1997.

Erin graduated from Union College in Schenectady, New York with a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science. She obtained her Juris Doctorate from Franklin Pierce Law Center in Concord, New Hampshire. Erin has been admitted to both the New Hampshire and Massachusetts Bar and to the U.S. District Court of Massachusetts and of New Hampshire.

Edward M. Sheehan, III
Executive Vice President

Ed has been with Windham Professionals since 1994. He is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of collections, operations and information systems. His commitment to the highest ethical and professional standards is evident in the staff of Collection and Account Managers who work with Windham and the high recovery rates those representatives achieve.

Ed graduated from Colorado State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Social Sciences. He is a member of the Sandler Sales Institute President's Club and has completed several FDCPA Collector Certification and Compliance Training Programs.

Megan L. S. Kristiansen
Vice President/General Counsel

Megan has been with Windham since November 2002. At Windham she provides legal counsel in business employment, creditor and borrower rights, contracts, and collection law. She also manages the Legal department at Windham.

Megan was formerly a staff attorney with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission in Washington, D.C., where she led teams in inspections of national securities exchanges.

Megan graduated from Colorado College and earned her Juris Doctorate from the Washington School of Law, American University, in Washington, D.C. She was admitted to the Massachusetts bar in 1999.

Patrick D. Hamilton
Senior Vice President, Sales

Patrick joined Windham Professionals, Inc. December 1, 1995. He held the position of Vice President, Commercial Sales from 1995 to 2005 and was promoted to Senior Vice President of Sales. Pat now directs both our commercial and educational sales force. Patrick's skills at training and motivating our sales staff and surpassing corporate sales goals are a great asset to our organization.

Pat is the company liaison with the National Association of Credit Managers, Commercial Law League of America, Commercial Collection Agency Association and the American Association of State Compensation Insurance Funds. He is an active member in the Insurance Accounting & Systems Association, International Association of Commercial Collectors, and American Collectors Association International.

Pat is a college graduate, completed the Dun & Bradstreet Financial Analysis Course, and is a graduate of the Sandler Sales Institute.

Deborah Proper
Vice President of Operations & Analysis

Deborah has 21 years of experience in the collection business and at Windham Professionals. She is responsible for managing the operations of the Educational and Commercial Collections Divisions.She works closely with account managers to monitor collection performance and to conduct client audits.

Deborah has a long-term interest in continuing education and in remaining on the leading edge in the collection industry.  Each year she attends the DAKCS A/R Collections and System training and is an ongoing participant in the Microsoft Professional Development Training.  In addition, she has attended FDCPA Collection Training and FDCPA Collector Certification and Compliance Training Programs.

Martin Damian
Vice President of Guarantor Relations

Martin offers over 30 years of extensive, adept management experience focusing on servicing clients and gaining results. His past responsibilities as Bursar/Director of Financial Aid at a large, independent University have significantly added notability to his credentials. Marty is a member of the NCHELP Debt Management Committee. At Windham, he liaisons and streamlines communication with clients, conducts daily phone contact with clients to expedite the collection process, makes personal visits to client sites and educates them on new products.

Martin received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Massachusetts, an Associates Degree in Data Processing Administration from Bryant & Stratton Junior College, attended a 12-month program on Higher Education Management from the Graduate School of Business Administration at Northeastern University, and various State and Federal training programs at Northeastern University.

 

John (Jack) McGuirk
Vice President, Healthcare Collections

Jack has over thirty (30) years of industry experience and leads Windham's medical collections team. He began his career as a patient account manager in 1973 with the Worcester Hahnemann Hospital. In 1980 he moved to the Medical Bureau of Economics and became part owner of that organization in 1983. In 1998, Mr. McGuirk formed Highland, Cross and Associates. In 2000 Jack sold the Medical Bureau of Economics and in February of 2005, he sold Highland, Cross and Associates to Windham Professionals, Inc.

Jack is an active member in the Massachusetts Association of Patient Account Managers (MAPAM), the American Collectors Association International (ACA), and is a current member and past President of the New England Collectors Association.
